Welcome to the Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork (CFBB), a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the quality of life in our unincorporated village. Since the 1960s, our team of volunteers has worked tirelessly to maintain and enhance the resources available to our residents, visitors, and business community.
As Bigfork has no ability to levy taxes, we rely entirely on the generosity of foundations, individuals, businesses, and fundraising events to achieve our goals. In many ways, we fill the gap left by the absence of traditional municipality.
Each year, we allocate an average budget of $100,000 or more towards funding various
initiatives such as the Swan River Nature Trail, Sliters Park, Bigfork Public Dock, The Village Square building, ImagineIf Library, Bigfork Art & Cultural Center, and many other services that benefit the community. At times, specific projects require a larger budget and more concerted fundraising efforts to meet the demands.
As Bigfork continues to grow and evolve, the CFBB will remain committed to leading and collaborating with others to address the changing environment and ensure a vibrant and thriving community for all.
We hope you join us in our mission to create a better Bigfork.
