SPRING
After a long season of bundling up, spring is a celebration in the Flathead Valley. Especially in Bigfork, where you'll see boats on the water before the ice has time to thaw. Here spring fever involves a lot of fishing, camping, hiking, biking, and unshuttering seasonal businesses.

Amazing ways to spend a summer day
No matter where you go in Bigfork during the summer, you’ll find people making the most of the season. Here are some of the things they’ll be doing…
FALL
When the valley is transformed by red, gold and green, and a small dusting of snow graces the mountains, locals don't start preparing to head indoors. Instead, we spend more time outdoors, taking advantage of this special season when hunting is in full swing, fishing is at its best, and the mountain trails reveal one breathtaking vista after another.

Explore our corner of Montana
The tamaracks are one of the natural wonders of the Fall. When they turn, the contrast of the crisp blue skies against a sea of orange and yellow make you fall in love with Montana all over again.
Inspiration for your fall adventures
As if Mother Nature isn’t inspiring enough, here are some additional ideas to get you excited about the season…
WINTER
If you think Bigfork shuts down for the winter, think again. We keep ourselves busy snowshoeing, skiing, snowboarding, ice-fishing, mushing, sledding, ice skating, and attending a whiskey tasting or two. Not to mention enjoying Glacier National Park while it's glistening with snow. Around here, we even cut down our own holiday trees!
