The Bigfork Holiday Parade of Lights is held on the first Saturday in December, when downtown Bigfork is glowing with lights and ready to celebrate the season.
Come early to explore Montana’s Christmas Village, visit local shops, enjoy dinner or a warm drink, and admire the storefronts and streets decorated by the Bigfork Elves. Downtown roads close at 5:30 p.m., and the parade begins at 6 p.m.
Lighted floats, music and familiar faces make their way through downtown before the parade ends with Santa’s arrival at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts. Santa will be available for photos until 8 p.m., so remember to bring your camera.
The Parade of Lights is a small-town tradition created by and for the community. Businesses, nonprofit organizations, families and community groups are invited to participate with a float or walking entry.

The Parade of Lights is a nonpartisan, family-friendly community event. Participants may not throw items from floats, use confetti or include another Santa in their entry. Animals and livestock are welcome at the end of the parade with accompanying cleanup walkers.
