To help with the summer parking crunch, several bike racks were installed downtown to encourage people to bike into town as an alternative to driving. In addition, the new sidewalk added 9 new parking spaces for downtown. CFBB is also working with the Chamber of Commerce, Village Connection and other interested groups to find solutions to downtown parking needs.
CFBB is participating with other stakeholders in the purchase of a new downtown parking lot. While negotiations and details are still being worked out, the new parking lot would alleviate the parking problems in Bigfork during the busy summer and fall months. The new lot would have an asphalt surface and room for about 50-60 new parking spaces.
