Whistling Andy Distillery opened New Year’s Eve, 2010 in Bigfork, Montana where glacial rivers empty into Flathead Lake. Since then, head distiller Brian Anderson and his team have been creating award winning spirits in an array of styles and flavors. Inspired by a great person and the perfect location, Whistling Andy creates their spirits using select local grains, local cherries, true first cut cane sugar and locally sourced botanicals whenever possible. They are truly a grain to glass distillery as their spirits are derived from grains produced by local Montana farmers with whom they have real, personal relationships. All components are hand selected and hand made from start to finish with no shortcuts or automation. There is a face to every step of the process, real people and real stories.
The Bigfork facility features an inviting tasting room, inspired by the 3,000 pound copper still all their spirits are created in and offers tastings, cocktails, tours as well as merchandise and gifts.
