Young Frankenstein (PG-13) follows Frederick Frankenstein, the skeptical American grandson of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein, who travels to Transylvania to claim his inherited family estate. Reluctantly embracing his legacy with the help of his quirky assistant Igor, lab aide Inga and the eerie housekeeper Frau Bluecher, Frederick resumes his grandfather’s experiments and brings a creature to life. What ensues is a monstrously funny journey of mishaps, misunderstandings, and madcap mayhem as Frederick learns to balance science, love, and what it truly means to follow in the footsteps of a legendary —if slightly alarming —ancestor.
