October 10 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm
An event every year that begins at 12:00 pm on day second of October, repeating indefinitely
Everyone’s family has that secret recipe, passed down from generation to generation. Tamarack Time in Bigfork is the perfect occasion to flaunt your signature dish. This amateur food competition is open to the public and invites the Flathead Valley to come down and enjoy this great event- and the great food! Hosted in the fall, this event takes place along Electric Avenue in Downtown Bigfork annually.
The 2020 Fall Festival will celebrate its 33rd anniversary this year in Bigfork, from noon to when the food is gone or 3pm, whichever comes first.
Tamarack Time Fall Festival is often described as a food competition at the county fair, but without the fair. There are hundreds different dishes in 12 categories, each category has judges who taste every entry and award ribbons for the first, second and third places.
The tasting is open to anyone who would like to participate. Just show up, pay your $5 and you can sample all of the entries.
Food entries should arrive between 11 a.m. and noon. Judging will be from 12:15-12:45 pm and guests, who pay the $5, can start sampling at 1 p.m.
