Welcome to the Renaissance, where playwright brothers Nick and Nigel Bottom are desperate to outshine their rock-star rival, William Shakespeare. When a mysterious soothsayer predicts that the future of theater involves singing, dancing, and acting all at once, the Bottom brothers set out to write the world’s first musical. Chaos, hilarity, and a bit of romance ensue in this laugh-out-loud comedy packed with over-the-top characters, clever wordplay, and show-stopping numbers. Will the Bottom brothers succeed, or will Shakespeare steal the spotlight yet again?
