FREE Portrait Workshop at BACC

Join us to learn how to draw portraits with our local and master artist, Will Smith, at the Bigfork Art & Cultural Center.  This workshop is for adults and kids 12 and over.  Please contact Julie at 406-837-6927 to reserve your spot.

This workshop will introduce the techniques from the book.  Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards.  We will start with an understanding of the different pencil lead types, explore how to “see” using shape relationships, learn shading and contrast.  By the end of the workshop, each participant will produce a portrait of their choosing.  Please bring a large image reference of the persons portrait you would like to draw.  All other supplies will be provided.
