You’re Invited! …..Bridge Street Bridge Ribbon Cutting Celebration
On behalf of the Bigfork Area Chamber of Commerce, we invite you to join us in celebrating the official ribbon cutting of the new Bridge Street Bridge!
This project has been years in the making—and its opening is the result of an extraordinary collaboration between the Montana Department of Transportation, Flathead County, the Community Foundation for a Better Bigfork, and Battle Ridge Builders. Thanks to their efforts—and your patience and support—we’re thrilled to reopen our iconic single-lane bridge.
11:45 AM – Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Hear from community leaders and project partners as we officially open the new Bridge Street Bridge.
The “Ribbon Crashing” First Drive One lucky auction winner will drive the very first ceremonial vehicle across the bridge—crashing through a ribbon stretched across the north end. (Bidding is live at BetterBigfork.org)
Ride Through Time with Uncle Bud Bigfork’s own centenarian, Uncle Bud Robinson, will follow in a 1925 Model T, honoring a century of Bigfork’s history and heart.
Lantern Parade & Community Crossing Follow the Lantern Parade hosted by Flathead County Library – Bigfork as we walk together across the bridge.
Live Music & Refreshments at River View Bar Once across, we’ll continue the celebration at River View Bar, where we’ll gather for refreshments, music by the Bad Larry’s, and raise a glass to the many hands and hearts that helped bring us here today.
Let’s mark this milestone together—celebrating community, connection, and a bridge to Bigfork’s future. See you there!
Please note: Bridge Street will be closed to vehicles from National Parks Realty to Bigfork Anglers during the event, starting at 10am.
