Come learn how to knit a traditional top-down sock with Sandi Avila. It looks harder than it is!
In this 3-session class, you’ll learn the basics of sock construction. The first class will teach the stretchy cast-on at the top of the leg using double pointed needles. The second class will work through the flap and gusset heel and the final class you will learn to Kitchener stitch at the toe. The Churchmouse Basic Sock pattern will be used for this class available on Ravelry or can be purchased through the shop. A kit of yarn and double pointed needles will also be part of the cost of the class.
There will be homework between each session.
Skill Level: Advanced beginner/intermediate, comfortable with knitting in the round.
