Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theatre invites young performers in grades 2-6 to audition for its upcoming production of the musical comedy “When in Rome.” This hilarious adventure follows three peasant thieves who sneak into the royal palace, leading to a story filled with mistaken identities, romance, and gladiatorial hijinks. Young performers will bring to life colorful characters including Gladis (the lovable “dorkus supremus”), Minimus (Mini to his friends), and Julia, as they attempt to help a princess avoid an unwanted marriage through an elaborate scheme involving the Roman games. The show features memorable musical numbers ranging from the comedic “I Could Be Royalty” to the show-stopping “Last Gladiator Standing.”
