Lessons from the River: Wildlife, Water, and Working with Nature.
Rivers shape the landscapes we live in, and wildlife has long adapted to their natural rhythms. What can beavers, otters, and bald eagles teach us about creating a home that balances conservation with responsible land use? This talk explores how we can learn from wildlife while also covering the basics of stream permitting. By understanding both nature’s lessons and regulatory tools, we can better steward our waterways for future generations.
