This Mother’s Day, Flathead Lake State Parks is hosting a wildflower walk guided hike and paper craft activity. The hike will be roughly 1 to 1.5 miles long, followed by a paper craft activity where we will be making flowers we saw during our hike in the Harry Horn picnic shelter. If you are looking to spend some time adventuring with Mom, call now to register at 406-837-3041 ext. 0.
Wildflowers come in a variety of colors and shapes as they appear each spring and summer. Each of our Park Units offers slight diversity in their seasonal flowers and interesting facts. Come find out some of these interesting facts and explore the beauty of our trails along the journey. Please bring/wear weather appropriate clothing, proper footwear, snacks, and a water bottle.
This hike is limited to 20 people and registration can be done by calling the Ranger Station at 406-837-3041 ext. 0.
The cost is $4 per participant, and free for kids 12 and under.
