BIGFORK COMMUNITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH
EASTER CANTATA – WHAT WONDROUS HOPE
March 24, 10 am
Bigfork Community United Methodist Church (CUMC), located in the heart of Bigfork, has a long history of being a place for community connection and meaningful worship. Founded in 1902 as the one and only church in a recently settled area, Methodists, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Catholics, and more met each week to praise God and be encouraged in their faith. The church’s bell rang to announce the joy of a recent birth, the passing of a beloved neighbor, or the warning of an area fire. Each Sunday, church members lifted their voices in song, praying that CUMC would always be a place where God’s good music could be enjoyed.
Each Sunday since – and more specifically, this Easter season – the traditions of community connection, meaningful worship, and good music continue. CUMC’s Sanctuary Choir, King’s Ringers (handbell choir), and Children’s Choir will be sharing an Easter Cantata titled “What Wondrous Hope.” Dr. Jordan Neiman, CUMC’s Music Director and Church & Community Coordinator will be directing. He will also be part of a piano duet. Pastor Wendy Ochs will lead worship. The Cantata takes place on Sunday, March 24, at 10 am. CUMC is located at 750 Electric Avenue in Bigfork, just one block from the Bigfork schools. As always, the entire community is invited to join!
