Winter weather closes a section of Going to the Sun Road

Winter weather has shut down a section of Going to the Sun Road in Glacier National Park.  The road is currently closed at Avalanche Creek on the west side.  The road remains open from West Glacier to Avalanche on the west side and St. Mary to Jackson Glacier on the east side of the park.  The most current road condition information and updates can be found  here.
