Alert and surefooted with a calm demeanor makes llamas the perfect companion for a trip into Montana’s Glacier Country. These beautiful Andean natives happily tote our gear with ease as we enjoy the phenomenal beauty of our surroundings. Guests have the option of leading their own llama or allowing the guide to lead their llama for them.
Shorter duration trips include a 2 hour, half day with lunch, full day with lunch or the favorite wine and cheese trek. If you’re looking for in depth information on llamas consider the llama packing/trekking clinic taught by our expert llama guides!
Longer duration treks range from two days to five days and meander along the Swan Divide of the Flathead National Forest. This spectacular ridge top trail offers endless views of three surrounding wilderness areas, the Swan Divide, the Continental Divide and Glacier National Park. We hike at a leisurely pace with plenty of time for rest stops, lunch breaks and marveling at the fantastic panoramic views. Each evening we spend the night in a cozy campsite by one of the many alpine lakes which dot the area.
