These kits will cover topics like wildlife tracking\, birding\, owls\, snow science\, and winter’s effects on forest/lake ecology.\nLocations and dates of pick-up will vary\, and all kits will be available on a first come\, first served basis throughout the two-week period.\n\nDecember 22: Winter Survival. Pick up at Lone Pine State Park.\nJanuary 4: Tracks. Pick up at Lone Pine State Park.\nJanuary 18: Snow Ranger. Pick up at Wayfarers Unit of Flathead Lake State Park.\nFebruary 1: Winter Birding. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad\, he’s handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona\, his swamp will be righted. DESCRIPTION:Introduction to Wet Felting – March 18th\n\n\nInstructor: Sylvia Smith \nSylvia will teach the basics of wet-felting on a bar of soap. This is good clean fun that produces a bar of soap with a built-in scrubby. If you don’t care to use the felted soap bar for handwashing\, then it makes a good drawer sachet. No felting or fiber arts experience is required for this kid-friendly tactile activity. The felted bars make nice stocking stuffers or teacher gifts. Bars of Irish Spring will be provided\, but class participants are welcome to bring their own preferred soap. \nSylvia Smith has been playing with wool and spinning for around 30 years and is currently working her way through the Master Spinner program at Olds College. DESCRIPTION:The Bigfork Playhouse Children’s Theater invites you to watch Shrek– the Musical – based on the popular (but not always appropriate) DreamWorks movie  – on March 17\, 18\, 19\, 24\, & 25.\n\nOnce upon a time\, in a far away swamp\, there lived an ogre named Shrek.  One day\, Shrek finds his swamp invaded by banished fairytale misfits who have been cast off by Lord Farquaad\, a tiny terror with big ambitions. When Shrek sets off with a wisecracking donkey to confront Farquaad\, he’s handed a task — if he rescues feisty princess Fiona\, his swamp will be righted. Shrek tries to win Fiona’s love and vanquish Lord Farquaad\, but a fairytale wouldn’t be complete without a few twists and turns along the way. \nPerformances will be at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts on Friday and Saturday March 17th\, 18th\, 24th\, & 25th\, at 7:30PM with a Sunday Matinee on March 19th at 2:00. \n  \nRegular ticket prices are $14 for Adults\, $12 for Seniors\, $11 for Students and $10 for children under 10 and can be purchased online or at the Box Office one hour prior to performances \n  \nThis production is fun for the entire family.
