Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich\, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival in Telluride\, Colorado. \nBMWF’s five-city tour will kick off in Bigfork on Friday\, March 7th at the Bigfork Center for the Performing Arts\, and then head to Whitefish on Friday\, March 14th at the O’Shaughnessy Cultural Arts Center. Both evenings will feature the same set of films that explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission of using the power of film\, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. \nThe Bob Marshall Wilderness Foundation (BMWF) has been hosting Mountainfilm on Tour since 2007 as a fundraiser for their hands-on stewardship projects in the 1.6-million-acre Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex. Each summer\, BMWF hosts 40+ Volunteer Adventure trips that open trails and restore habitat while providing unique\, low-cost opportunities for people to experience one of the most remote Wilderness areas in the lower-48. \nThe doors for the events open at 6 PM\, and the films start at 7 PM.
