SUMMARY:Huckleberry Festival at Swan Lake
DESCRIPTION:For 41 years\, the second Saturday in August has meant huckleberry pie\, huckleberry treats\, arts\, crafts\, and music on the shores of beautiful Swan Lake.  The 41st annual Swan Lake Huckleberry Festival will get underway at 9 am on Saturday\, August 13\, 2022\, at the Swan Lake Day Park near mile marker 72 on Montana Highway 83. \nMorning activities include a pancake breakfast starting at 9 am\, a Huckleberry Baking contest at 11 am\, and a Huckleberry Baked Goods Sale (Come early\, the pies sell out quickly!). Contest entries must be huckleberry-based with a minimum of three servings provided.  Entries will be accepted Saturday morning starting at 10:30 am. \nPlanned afternoon activities include a silent auction and raffles of donated items including gift certificates and products from area restaurants and merchants. \nThe festival will also feature an Arts and Crafts Fair with more than 50 vendors offering a wide array of handicrafts\, gifts\, Montana-made products\, food\, and country-made delicacies. The Silverado Band will play from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm. \nFestival proceeds will be used to fund the maintenance of the Swan Lake Community Center. \nFood and craft vendors interested in participating  in the Arts & Crafts Fair should contact Terry & Lesly Olsen at terry.rolsen@gmail.com

DESCRIPTION:GUYS AND DOLLS (PG)\nGuys and Dolls is a musical romantic comedy involving the unlikeliest of Manhattan pairings: a high-rolling gambler and a puritanical missionary\, a showgirl dreaming of the straight-andnarrow\, and a crap game manager who is anything but. Set in the Manhattan of Damon Runyon’s short stories\, Guys and Dolls tells of con-man Nathan Detroit’s efforts to find new life for his illegal\, but notorious\, crap game. When their trusty venue is found out by the police\, Nathan has to find a new home for his crap game quickly —but he doesn’t have the dough to secure the one location he finds.
