SUMMARY:Watercolor Class at the BACC
DESCRIPTION:Watercolor ‘Tulip Pitcher’ – Level 1\nw/ Lindsay Godfrey\n\nIn this beginner-friendly watercolor class\, you’ll learn the fundamentals of watercolor painting\, starting with the basic wet-on-wet technique. We’ll focus on creating a beautiful\, soft floral composition featuring tulips in a metal pitcher while adding texture to the pitcher with table salt. This class is designed for those with no previous painting experience and minimal drawing skills but is enjoyable for all levels. All materials provided. \nAbout the artist: \n“Art has broadened my perception of the world since I was able to hold a pencil. As a native Montanan\, I find my work often reflects the beautiful landscapes that surround me. I have an innate desire to create and capture beauty. To get lost for hours in a scene of my own creation indulges this lifelong desire. I hope to give the viewer a small piece of my sanctuary\, a place to rest\, if only for a few moments.”\n-Lindsay Godfrey\nhttps://www.lgodfreyfineart.com/watercolor-gallery \nRegister here: https://baccbigfork.org/classes-events/details/watercolor-tulip-pitcher-level-1 \n

SUMMARY:Young Frankenstein at Bigfork Center for Performing Arts
DESCRIPTION:Young Frankenstein (PG-13) follows Frederick Frankenstein\, the skeptical American grandson of the infamous Dr. Victor Frankenstein\, who travels to Transylvania to claim his inherited family estate.  Reluctantly embracing his legacy with the help of his quirky assistant Igor\, lab aide Inga and the eerie housekeeper Frau Bluecher\, Frederick resumes his grandfather’s experiments and brings a creature to life.  What ensues is a monstrously funny journey of mishaps\, misunderstandings\, and madcap mayhem as Frederick learns to balance science\, love\, and what it truly means to follow in the footsteps of a legendary —if slightly alarming —ancestor. \nFor tickets click here: https://bigforksummerplayhouse.com/tickets/
