Please join Flathead Valley community members and attend a free presentation on the Montana budget process and potential state revenue options, led by Heather O’Loughlin, Co-Director of the Montana Budget and Policy Center.
The state budget identifies, prioritizes and invests in the public structures and services we all rely on for our safety, prosperity and stability. Montana faces serious budget challenges that threaten its ability to maintain public priorities. We want these challenges, and the budget process itself, to be more accessible and easier to understand to broaden participation in the debate and foster policies that work for all Montanans.
The first 200 attendees will receive a free copy of the Montana State Constitution.
Agenda:
6:30-7 Music, drinks and snacks, socializing
7-8:15 Presentation and questions
8:15 Opportunity for attendees to connect and talk with local candidates in attendance.
(The Montana Budget and Policy Center is a non-partisan, non-profit organization that focuses on researching and advancing sound public policies that improve the lives of low-income and middle-income Montanans.)
