| The Glacier Symphony and Chorale is committed to the performing arts as vital to the cultural enrichment of Northwest Montana. This commitment is pursued through excellence in musical performance, dynamic artistic leadership, and visionary management. It strives to create an atmosphere for patrons and musicians alike that is inspiring, educational, and challenging.
The performance season features concerts year-round in Kalispell, Bigfork, Whitefish, Libby, and Polson. GSC’s musicians, patrons, and volunteers come from Flathead, Lake, and Lincoln counties. The largely volunteer organization’s orchestra is led by Maestro John Zoltek, and the Glacier Chorale is conducted by Dr. Jim Stanard. “Wild about Music” youth education concerts are performed throughout the year in area elementary and middle schools.
